We have the greatest film-makers in the world-yet Chicago gave sub-par visuals at the Olympic Presentation.
Who can forget the rolling ball at the beginning of Spielberg's first Indiana Jone's picture?
Who can forget the many Bruckheimer blocbusters?
Who can forget Ken Burns' Civil War?
Did you see MTV's magnificent production of Jay-Z'z and Alicia Keys' New York?
Stunning visuals of the New York night time skyline, Times Square, Yankee Stadium, Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Chrysler Building; gleaming lights-beautiful presentation.
That was such a stunning performance that next day, ESPN led off with a story about New York, with Alicia Keys' "New York" high pitched voice in the background!!
Amazing piece of work.
Despite all of this, Chicago's presentation was slow-footed, un-imaginative and dull.
